At 7.00AM it looked bad it had rained on and off all night and we feared 90+km of soggy canal tow path + more rain could be too taxing. We feared without knowledge the weather improved and we found a more direct route on tarmac with only a few hills and got to Nantes in record time, exhausted.
A meal at L'Entrecote and a couple of beers and we still had problems walking. Good news it's a day off tomorrow in Nantes.
Watching the French TV equivalent of Fat Club which is believe it or not is worse in French. It is the best programme on TV!!
