Merde, Merde, Merde.
I spent quite a while today sat in a cafe composing a long blog only to delete the whole thing whilst trying to change a photo. I can't even remember what I said. There again I'm not sure if anyone is out there. So here we go again. It won't be the same.
No it won't be the same and it may be the last posting as I've just got back to the hotel and realised I've left my charger in Margaux. More Merde.

- Normal stuff really. Martyn left home we decided to go bimbling through Europe at a slow rate for a few years. Couldn't be bothered with all that airport, hotel nonsense so we thought we'd take our house with us. Well a 1926 Peniche or Katwijker (Dutch Barge to the uninitiated) to be precise and do a bit of ditch crawling. We stay for as long or as short a time as we like. The journey has no specific ending or route - there is no final port 'plaisance'. We stop somewhere for a day and it does turn into weeks or months. How long depends on what we find and how much we are enjoying it. There is always a day when we will feel the urge to move on, knowing that new adventures lie just round the next bend of the voie fluviale. For some part of our adventures I'm sure you will be there to share it with us.

Merde! We are out here and following with interest. I hope you resolve your technology issue, have you a dynamo and a couple of coat hangers ;)

Merde! Bloody merde!!! What do you need? Can't face a day without news - might it be possible to have one sent over for you to collect at a predetermined destination? This is terrible news. Personally I would send Ian back to get it! He could do it on an overnight run.
