What a day for records we passed the 1000km barrier today, see photo's, the one of me looking excited is at the 1000km point the other close up of the odometer is to prove to all you doubters that we are not holeing up in Bradford-on-Avon. The other record is that we cycled 114km today, an all time best.
Sue, sorry to say that Ian has found a new woman, see photo. I'm sure a bit of pamperring will bring him round. (She looks a bit cold and a bit big to me!)
Moissac is fine, an amazing abbey like structure built from 7th century onwards with an amazing....... I can almost hear you yawning so I'll tell you about Mr Anal Photographer instead. Ian and I were having our post 114km beer in the square in front of the abbey. Mr Anal arrived with his partner Mrs Miggins the camera equipment carrier. He paced around with lots of photographic through the lens panning to get the right location. Once found he waited, waited and waited for his photograph. He's obviously an anti human he did not want anyone in his photo. It was all looking good when a Mercedes drove through the square and parked in the middle of his composition. He gave up. But no he was lurking in the wings, as soon as the Merc moved he was back, but no a woman with a tray of groceries decided stand in the view and talk to friends. What a sin. After about half an hour he walked off in disgust. What a waste. And did I tell you about the chef in our restaurant this evening, no. Well if you click in tomorrow I might.
For the wildlife followers the 3 most memorable fauna over the last 2 days have been a red squirrel, Ian and I can not recall the last time we saw one, a grass snake about 600-700cm long slithering across the cycle path and kingfishers.
ps thanks for all your comments (we would like more, I always like more). I see Mike was quite concerned at the loss of blog frag-mented. The big blue wobbly thing grows closer.

You're not in Bradford on Avon but Tynebridge!
Ian's new woman - what can I say: She's a bit on the dull side with a will of iron, a steely glint in her eye, she's a copper top with a heart of gold (poetic licence here), thinks every cloud has a silver lining and has a smile to 'smelt' your heart.
Sorry, really bad I know - love Pen x
Guys i just cannot believe how far you have got in a relatively short space of time, especially when you consider the lousey weather you have had. Just checked the road map and your at the bottom right hand corner of pages 24-25, next set of pages are 42-43 which feature Barcelona! Could be tough terrain ahead but looks like you can take on anything. What will I do when you get there and no daily bulletin to read. I look you guys up before - YES BEFORE - I read the news on Liverpool FC's long protracted change of ownership. Take that as a major compliment! Keep it up, bloody good going if you ask me. Mike
Message from Alan:
